2025

WuXi TIDES facilities gain FDA approval

Changzhou passed first GMP inspection by the U.S. FDA for TIDES APIs, and Taixing successfully passed a Pre-Approval Inspection (PAI) for the commercial manufacturing of a peptide-based therapeutic.

2024

WuXi TIDES is established

WuXi STA's oligonucleotide and peptide service offering is developed into its own business unit, providing specialist CRDMO support for TIDES projects.

Ground broken on Singapore site

With operations slated for 2027, Tuas Singapore site will be an API manufacturing campus for both small molecules and oligonucleotides & peptides.

WuXi TIDES expands its manufacturing capacity

With the inauguration of peptide manufacturing facilities in Changzhou and Taixing, China, WuXi TIDES triples its peptide production output.

2022

WuXi STA expands into TIDES manufacturing

WuXi STA opened a new large-scale oligo and peptide manufacturing facility within its Changzhou API site.

2022

WuXi STA breaks ground on second U.S. facility

Operations at the new Middletown, Delaware, site are slated for Q4 2026. The site will provide clinical and commercial manufacturing of oral solids and sterile injectables.

2018

San Diego site begins operations

This was WuXi STA's first U.S. site, providing early-phase clinical development for small molecule API manufacturing.

2017

WuXi STA merges with WuXi AppTec PDS

This move integrated formulation and clinical trial manufacturing into the WuXi STA offering.

2016

WuXi STA opened new campus in Changzhou

This expansion increased our API R&D and manufacturing capacity.

2011

WuXi STA acquires Medkey and Abgent

New acquisitions bolster our service offering, adding clinical and antibody support.

2008

AppTec Laboratory Services acquired

New acquisition expands WuXi STA's service offering into analytical support, as well as API manufacturing.

WuXi STA’s first API manufacturing facility opens

Shanghai Jinshang begins operations as WuXi STA's first facility for small molecule API manufacturing.
